Describe:
The media I used was 3D wording and a black background. I used form for my 3D wording, I used color black as my background. Some of the shapes that are in this photo are curves outline of the heads. I would say all the shapes are similar. The shapes are spread out through the picture because my wording is one shape which is 3D and it is spread out. Yes, most of the shapes are repeated. Yes, the lines of the wording makes your eyes move to follow the wording. Analyze: The dominant principle of design is movement because you can see the wording in the picture in different places and our eyes know where to follow. The wording in my picture is still but is 3D so it moves your eyes in a direction. The center if interest is a group of kids in which some of them have disabilities. By outlining the background and making it black shows more attention to the kids. Interpret: The feeling of the artwork is happy kids but, it’s supposed to make you feel sad about how the word is being used. To stop the R word. It realistic because I hear people say it every day. Yes, I feel connected to the art work because my sister has a disability and she hears people say that word a lot. Evaluate: I feel that the artwork is successful because it means a lot to me. Set more time aside and take better pictures and edit better. The overall mood of this picture is happy but sad at the same time because you see the kids smiling but the message is powerful. The overall composition of the artwork is pleasing to the viewer because of the way it is set up.
